Our 6-week Mighty Movers programme introduces children ages
7-12yrs to the fundamentals of strength and conditioning in a safe, fun and developmentally appropriate way. Better movement, coordination, body control, core strength, agility and fitness, all while building a positive attitude towards physical activity.

THE PROGRAMME
ONE MOVEMENT.
ONE WEEK AT A TIME.
Each week focuses on one key movement, taught through exercises, games and fun challenges that develop your child's technique and confidence.
Sessions run up to three times per week, with each week built around a different mechanic of movement. Every activity is progressive and suitable for all levels and abilities, so every child leaves each session having achieved something.
BY THE END OF THE 6 WEEKS, CHILDREN WILL:
Understand and perform at least 5 foundational movement patterns
Improve balance, coordination, strength and awareness
Learn correct techniques in a fun and encouraging environment
Build fitness whilst developing teamwork and focus

WEEK 01
SQUAT SUPERSTARS

FOCUS: SQUATTING, JUMPING AND LANDING
Squat-based movements teaching efficient technique in the mechanics of squatting, jumping and landing. Fun, engaging exercises build the foundational movement patterns that support coordination, strength and injury prevention.
WEEK 02
HINGE HEROS

FOCUS: DEADLIFT PATTERNS, HIP HINGE TECHNIQUE AND POSTERIOR CHAIN STRENGTH
Hip hinge mechanics and deadlift movement patterns, with an emphasis on movement quality and coordination. We build the foundations of posterior chain strength through progressive, fun activities for all levels and abilities.
WEEK 03
CORE CHAMPIONS

FOCUS: CORE STRENGTH, POSTURAL STABILITY AND BALANCE
Developing overall core strength through planks, bear crawls and other plank-based movements. Skill development blends with fun challenges to support balance, posture and body control.
WEEK 04
LUNGE LEGENDS

FOCUS: SINGLE LEG STRENGTH, WALKING LUNGES AND SINGLE SIDED DRILLS
Fully focused on single leg strength, balance and coordination through walking lunges, step ups and single leg landings. The goal: balance awareness, control and full confidence across a wide variety of single sided movements.
WEEK 05
PUSH POWERHOUSES

FOCUS: MODIFIED PRESS UPS, PUSHING TECHNIQUES AND UPPER BODY STRENGTH
Push movements including modified press ups, with safe and fun progressions and total body movement control. Building upper body strength that is critical for overall performance, coordination and posture.
WEEK 06
TOTAL TEAMWORK

FOCUS: TEAMWORK, CONFIDENCE AND EVERYTHING LEARNED SO FAR
All movement patterns and principles from the six weeks come together in a team-based environment. Fun games and challenges, tackled as a team, cement the key fundamentals for long term development.
